“It's a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together.”
PHOTOGRAPHER // COFFEE ADDICT // HORSE ENTHUSIAST
Hey, I'm Corrin. I'm a senior, equine, wedding photographer and graphic designer. I got my first camera when I was 10 and instantly fell in love with photography and have been capturing memories ever since.
I have been showing horses since I was 8 years old. My first horse was a little Arab/Quarter horse and then I got my first pleasure horse, a 3 year old gelding named Andy, and started showing APHA when I was 10. I still have that paint horse along with a few others and a super cute donkey. In college I didn't have enough money to show, so I started doing show photography to get my horse fix in and fell in love with capturing the memories I always cherished most for others. I can't wait to walk in the ring again on a horse, but for now my heart is filled by capturing all of your memories.
Now for some random facts about me.. I love goats. I have two Dwarf Nigerians and they have my heart. I also am an avid hunter. I deer hunt and tag along on waterfowl hunts to take pictures and video. I'm a hopeless romantic and can watch hallmark movies for hours. I have a dog and a cat that are my best friends.
Please enjoy these terrible throwbacks from my youth days :)
The sorrel paint horse is my youth horse who is living out a luxurious semi retirement at my parents and the bay is my current show horse who is retired at the young age of 9 due to COPD.
Fun Facts About Me
I met my significant other through Photography. We were both working as photojournalists at our school newspaper and the fact he could work a camera instantly caught my eye.
I'm a very laid back person until I get behind a camera. Being behind a camera is so exciting for me and that is where I feel most at home. I'm the most confident when I have a camera or two strapped to me.
I grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere... I think this is one of the reasons I can find beauty in everything. I grew up with nothing but cornfields, trees, and dogs to take pictures of and find the beauty in.
I have a donkey named Jeff who acts like a dog... He also has an insta: @jeffthedonkey If you’re on the fence about these long-eared equines, follow Jeff, he’s sure to win you over.
“For every girl who thinks she isn't pretty, for every boy who thinks he's nothing special, step in front of my camera and let me show you how wrong you are.”
“I absolutely love Corrin's work! Her attention to detail really shows in her photos, as she captures the love and bond between my horse and I! She is great to work with and goes above and beyond to make your images exactly the way you picture them! I highly recommend Corrin Hunt Photography!!”
